Hosting

This website is delivered through Azure Static Web Apps. When you visit the site, technical access data can be processed by the hosting provider to deliver the requested pages and keep the service secure. This can include IP address, requested URL, date and time of access, browser information, and status codes.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the reliable and secure delivery of this website.

The site search runs locally in your browser using a static search index. Search queries are not sent to a third-party search provider by this website.

Local Storage and Cookies

This website uses small amounts of browser storage for site functionality:

  • pref-theme: stores your light/dark theme preference after you change it.
  • klaro-consent: stores your consent choices for optional services.

These values are used to provide the requested site behavior and to remember your privacy choices.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is optional and is disabled until you give consent through the privacy banner.

Purpose: I use Google Analytics to understand which articles are read and how the site is used, so I can improve the blog.
